Microsoft and Nokia are allegedly working on an Android-powered Nokia Lumia . Evleaks, the website that has leaked accurate information about devices in the past tweeted that the handset maker is working on a Lumia device that will run on Android OS instead of Windows Phone 8.1

Microsoft has dabbled with Android before but this is a significant shift if the claims are anything to go by. This would directly be conflicting with what Microsoft wants to do with Windows Phone and several questions can be raised from this. However Evleaks had this to say.

Using Android’s dominance in the market could potentially help Windows phone sell more handsets. Nokia, having been known for making good hardware could complement well with Android software running in it.
