Apple announced its 28th annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will be on the 5th of June this year. This is the event Apple where previews next versions of iOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS in a keynote that is streamed live on Apple devices. Apple sometimes releases new hardware at WWDC as well, however, the conference is primarily aimed towards developers so it won't be surprising to see Apple skip any new hardware announcements.
The event will be held at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose which is located close to Apple’s new headquarters in Cupertino. WWDC 2017 will give developers access to more than 1,000 Apple engineers with opportunities to meet and engage with them throughout the conference. Developers will have the opportunity to apply for tickets this spring.
