Asus released what seems to be one of the most ambitious product it has ever released, in what they’re calling as a five-mode, three-in-one converged laptop: the Asus Transformer Book V. To sum up the features, it is basically a Windows-Android notebook that also works as a tablet and finally as a smartphone. If you look at it, the smartphone docks into the tablet (like their earlier FonePad products), and then the tablet (which runs both Android and Windows) can be docked on a keyboard.
Specifications-wise, the Transformer Book V will run Windows 8.1 and Android 4.4 KitKat and will run on Intel Core processors. It will also have a 12.5-inch display and special button that lets instantly change operating systems.
The smartphone will be powered by an Intel Atom quad-core processor and will have a 5.5-inch screen, along with the latest Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. No word on the pricing has been released as of now.
