Finestkind

Finestkind tells the story of two half-brothers raised in different worlds who are reunited as adults over a fateful summer. Set against the backdrop of commercial fishing, the story takes on primal stakes when desperate circumstances force the brothers to strike a deal with a violent Boston crime gang.

The movie is written and directed by Brian Helgeland and stars Tommy Lee Jones, Ben Foster, Toby Wallace and Jenna Ortega, and streams on Starzplay on February 15, 2024.

The Black Demon

Oilman Paul Sturges’ idyllic family vacation turns into a living nightmare when they encounter a gigantic megalodon shark that will stop at nothing to protect its territory.

The Walking Dead Spin-offs

The Walking Dead universe keeps expanding with all kinds of spin-offs, and you can watch 4 of them on Starzplay on January 18th!

Starting with The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. As the title implies, the show follows Norman Reedus’ fan-favourite character, Daryl, as he navigates the zombie-infested landscape of Europe.

The second spin-off, The Walking Dead: Dead City, stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan’s Maggie and Negan, who travel into a post-apocalyptic Manhattan cut off from the mainland in search of Maggie’s kidnapped son, Hershel.

The Walking Dead: Origins is a docu-series which revisits the stories of major characters, presented and narrated by the cast members who play them, taking a look back at key moments.  

Lastly, Tales of the Walking Dead offers six standalone stories that take place within The Walking Dead universe. Each of the narratives chronicles the experiences of new characters and, on occasion, reprises established figures from the original series.

Fargo Season 5

John and the Hole

John is a wealthy teenager who finds a deep hole in the woods near his home. For no apparent reason, John drugs his parents and older sister and throws them in the hole, then returns home to live a new life of independence.

The film explores questions about human nature, the desire for freedom, and the true meaning of family. It is a mysterious and disturbing film that leaves the viewer with much to think about.

Fargo

Fargo is an American anthology crime drama created by Noah Hawley and produced by FX Productions. It is inspired by Coen brothers 1996’s film of the same name, and takes place within the same fictional universe.

The show follows a different stories and mostly new characters and cast each season. Each season is heavily influenced by various Coen brothers films, with each containing numerous references to them.

Medinah is a Qatari production, and it features both Arabic and English languages. It streams on Starzplay from October 19, 2023.

BlackBerry

Based on a true story, BlackBerry follows the remarkable rise and fall of the mobile technology company as it fails to pivot against challenging corporate shenanigans, as well as stiff competition from Apple and the newly released iPhone.

Matt Johnson directs the movie and features Jay Baruchel, Glenn Howerton, Matt Johnson, and more.
