NEC shows dual screen android phone at MWC (video)
Although we're not quite there yet with foldable LCD technology as demonstrated by Samsung earlier this year, there really ins't anything stopping us from using a dual screen devices- especially with phones getting thinner by the day.
NEC was doing just that with their MEDIAS W N-05E handset that features two 4.3" qHD screens running Android 4.1 on a dual core 1.5GHz processor. The device weighs just 183g- not too much more than some of the super phones and is about 12.2mm thick. The two 4.3 inch screens unfold to become a 5.6" tablet that can be used for many purposes as shown in the video above.
At the moment the phone is only for the Japanese market but that could change.
