Downloaded it last night and fell in love with it all over again - though the unskippable cutscenes and intro is a bit annoying..lol

As you might be aware Bioshock Infinite got released today! Both Nvidia and AMD has released drivers to support the game, so make sure you update your drivers before you play the game.

Surprisingly, the game is pretty tasking. It uses many DX11 features and can get quite heavy for older cards at Ultra settings. It should be fine in high-med settings, though, but screw that, who’s going to play on anything less than Ultra?!

We are conducting our own benchmarks for the game and we will post it here soon. In the meanwhile, show off your FPS and specs here!

So during GamesFest this weekend a lot of people came up to me and asked why weren’t we running a DOTA 2 tournament. Well, apart form not having 10 PCs (or more!) I wasn’t really sure how much of an interest the local gaming community has for DOTA 2.

I know that when I play in the evenings on the world map (in-game) I see a lot of activity around the UAE and nearby regions. So the question is, how many of you guys like DOTA 2? We could definitely host a tournament at the next GamesFest assuming there’s enough interest.

In case you guys would like to contact me on Steam directly, or would like to play, just add me as a friend.

Just posted about NVIDIA’s FaceWorks engine, and damn everyone if this doesn’t make it to new games.

http://www.tbreak.com/news/nvidia-unveils-faceworks-the-most-realistic-facial-animation-engine-so-far/

It’s not only the animation, which is far more advanced than anything I have seen before, but the details on the skin, and the skin looking like skin, is simply jaw droppingly incredible.

Heavy Rain and Crysis 3 has pretty good facial animation but this just walks over it.

So, as many of you guys know, the 7th GamesFest will be held tomorrow at ClubWest. Gates will open up by 12pm tomorrow, and tournaments will begin by 3pm so people have enough time after Jummah prayers.

Here are the tournaments that will held. I’ll personally be overlooking the Heart of the Swarm (PC) and Black Ops 2 (X360) tournaments. Please read the rules for each tournament you want to take part in, and make sure you’re there by 2pm so that you can be allocated a place in the tournament and we have too many people registered!
