So I got my Surface Pro 128GB and I must say it’s slick and exactly what I expected. I love the build quality and the performance is pretty darn good as well. Got to start installing my games. Overall I would give it a 8.5/10. Anyone else got one? What do you guys think?

I was thinking of getting one but my main issue is that the non-metro side of Windows 8 still heavily relies on a mouse/keyboard. On such a small screen with such a high-res, is it easy to tap things with your finger in desktop mode? Did you get it with the smart cover?

Yes I got the touch and type keyboard. The type one is awesome. The touch keyboard is pretty shaky, I just got it because it was a limited edition one. Actually you will be surprised how sensitive and accurate the touch is in the desktop mode. I haven’t got a single tap gone wrong till now. In fact most times I am not even using the smart cover/keyboard. I was concerned about the scrolling with the finger for e.g. in IE but it adapts quite well. You don’t have to use the scrollbars, just swiping will scroll horizontally and vertically. Of course it’s still recommended you get some hands on before shelling out a 1000+ dollars.

Just wondering- are you liking the Surface more or less as you spend more time with it?

I am loving it more then I thought I would. It’s not my primary gaming rig but for everything else it’s the surface pro. I like how I can take it around with me everywhere and I have an LTE subscription with my Lumia 920 so I am always connected with internet sharing. I can safely say it’s replaced my Lenovo W510 laptop.
