Nokia announced a couple of new handsets at Mobile World Congress this year to complete the family of Lumia devices based on Microsoft Windows Phone 8 OS. The Lumia 920 and 820 still sit at the top of the product range, however the Lumia 720 and Lumia 520 were introduced that are placed on either side of the Lumia 620 that we recently reviewed.
We got a chance to play with the budget-priced Lumia 520 that is expected to retail under AED 700. It comes with a 4.0″ screen, 1.0GHz dual core CPU and 8GB of storage space along with a 5MP camera. While still not as low in price as Nokia’s Asha range, the Lumia series is now certainly placed in the lower-end of the mid ranged phone segment.
