Apple has been working on the iOS 10.3 beta update for January, and a new leak spills the beans on the new features for the iPhone and iPad.
The major addition to Apple's OS update is the Theatre Mode, according to a leak from notable leaker Sonny Dickson on Twitter. The leak does not talk much about the mode itself, but he does reveal that it includes a new popcorn shaped Control Center icon. Now this could either be a dark mode for video viewing, or maybe a new way to silence your device while taking it to the movies.
The iOs 10.3 beta release date is said to be January 10, and comes right on the heels of the earlier iOS 10.2 launch. This coincides with last years timings as well, as the iOS 9.3 beta arrived in January and it debuted the popular Night Shift mode with successive beta updates.
There are even chances that the final iOS 10.3 update could be timed to launch with a new iPad in March or April, similar to how the iOS 9.3 update rolled out with the iPad Pro 9.7.
