Samsung Galaxy S9 might get a Snapdragon 845
Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro price leaked
Bixby Voice could be released before the Note 8
Going by just the rumors and leaks, it looks like the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active might be a seriously powerful and rugged phone, and we know more thanks to a leaked training manual.
The manual is quite detailed, but it does not add new details. So far we know that the phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor and 4GB of RAM, and is going to be sporting a 5.8" Super AMOLED screen running at a resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels. The manual also suggests that the phone is going top come with Android 7.0 Nougat on board, instead of the 7.1 version.
According to the manual, not only will the phone be IP68 certified like the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, it's also built to the MIL-STD-810G US military standard, so it can take much tougher treatment than your average smartphone. The phone will come with Bixby support, and will have a dedicated Bixby button below the volume rocker. It will also include fast charging and wireless charging.
We don't really know when to expect the S8 Active, but for all you know it might be strictly just a US release, similar to its predecessors.
