Apple might be preparing a 128GB iPad 4

The iPad has been available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB configurations for quite some time now which is good enough for apps, documents and your music. But for someone who likes to carry videos on their iPad, especially in HD, those gigs get eaten up faster than you realise.

9To5Mac is reporting that Apple might be getting ready to release a 128GB version of the latest iPad according to a high-profile US retailer. The codenamed P101 and P103 have shown up with an "ULTIMATE" model which presumably is better than the currently available Good (16GB), Better (32GB) and Best (64GB) models. References to a 128GB model is the upcoming iOS 6.1 definitely makes these claims appear more reliable.

As per their source, the unit will be available in black as well as white and in Wi-Fi and 3G/LTE models. What they're not sure of is if this model will be specific to government, educational or retail.
