BlackBerry Z10 claims 60% of all smartphone sales says local retailer
According to a tweet published by BlackBerry Middle East, the Z10 accounted for 60% of all smartphone sales at the local retailer chain Axiom. We haven't received any word from Axiom on this and today being a weekend, won't be able to officially verify or the time-period this statement claims (last week, yesterday, all of February etc.)
What we can say is that the Z10 is surely short in supply at most retailers across the UAE. On individual informed us that Axiom refused to sell them the Z10 because of the limited stock and their preference to sell to corporate customers. We've reached out to Axiom and will update this story if we hear back from them.
