BlackBerry Z10 launched in India
The BlackBerry Z10 yesterday launched in India, the latest country to get the device outside of the US.
The Z10 went on sale for Rs. 43,490 (around AED 2,965) and was launched by Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, alongside executives from BlackBerry India.
“Without a doubt the BlackBerry Z10 is among the most important and much awaited BlackBerry launches in the history of the Indian smartphone industry, and we are thrilled to launch the new BlackBerry Z10 smartphone with our carrier and retail partners across India. With BlackBerry 10, every feature, every gesture, and every detail is designed to keep you moving,” said Mr. Sunil Dutt, Managing Director for India at BlackBerry.
The handset will go on sale in over 2,000 retailers across the country, on both 3G and HSPA+ networks.
