Celebs Confess Their Email Habits With Outlook.com
Microsoft has been hard at work promoting its new email service Outlook.com - that is, apart from the various Gmail-bashing videos.
The company had recently sponsored the Film Independent Spirit Awards, held the day before the Academy Awards. There was a 'pink carpet' where celebrities of the film world could saunter up and down to their heart's content, while being innocently badgered by a reporter who's riveting question to each of them was "Who was the last person you emailed?"
The answers of course, are hardly imaginative, ranging from 'my other half' to 'my publicist' - a few Hollywood icons like Bruce Willis and Bradley Cooper to make an appearance, but their replies are just as bland as the rest of the people interviewed. The highlight of course has to come from Karan Soni, who proudly proclaimed "I just switched my Hotmail to Outlook.com this morning actually!". Ah Microsoft, subtlety is not your strongest point.
