Chrome and Android to remain separate says Eric Schmidt

Figuring out why Google has had two separate operating systems, Chrome and Android, separately being worked on has many puzzled. However, the recent departure of Andy Rubin as the boss of Android and his replacement Sundar Pichai, the person responsible for Chrome led many to believe that the two Operating Systems would merge into one.

That does not seem to be the plan as former Google CEO and current chairman Eric Schmidt confirmed to Reuters during his trip to India today. He mentioned that were will be more interoperability between the two operating systems but they will remain as two separate operating systems.
