Microsoft Surface Pro gets a release date and price
Microsoft's Windows RT based Surface tablet sadly did not get the response that Microsoft might have been looking out of it. One of the reasons for the Surface's lack of success could've been that consumers were holding off to purchase the Pro version which has finally been given a release date from Microsoft.
The Microsoft Surface Pro that comes with an Intel Core i5 CPU along with 4GB RAM and a 64GB SSD and running the full version of Windows 8 is going to be released on the 9th of February in the US and Canada. It will retail for $899 (AED 3,300) which might sound a lot compared to an iPad or other Android tablets but this is a full blown computer. While the Surface pen will be included, you will have to buy the Touch or Type Cover separately.
