New lockscreen vulnerability found for iPhone 4 running iOS 6.1.3
Not even a week went by since Apple released their iOS v6.1.3 that fixed a lockscreen bug which allowed access to the contacts list on iPhones when another was posted yesterday, as first noticed by TheNextWeb.
As you can see from the video posted above, the exploit requires initiating a phone call by voice command, followed by removing the SIM card at a specific time, which then gives you access to the Contacts list and the Photos; which can then be completely edited.
Obviously that's not an easy method to pull off, but with a little dedication it's only a matter of time. Of course, the easiest way to "fix" this issue until Apple comes up with a firmware update is to simply disable the voice dialing option altogether.
