New Windows Phone advert pits Nokia against Samsung

It looks like Microsoft are at it again with their 'street' marketing schemes.

This time around, it's a face-off between the cameras of the Nokia Lumia 920 and the Samsung Galaxy SIII. Microsoft's Ben Rudolph approaches a couple on the street (love the note at the bottom, 'real people, not actors') and challenges them to take a photo in low-light conditions. The couple smile, a photo is taken, and the results compared.

Of course the outcome is that the couple are flabbergasted by the photo taken on the Nokia Lumia 920, and within minutes the woman shrieks out the expected tag line, "THIS IS MY WINDOWS PHONE" while gleefully waving around her new phone.

It's debatable how long Microsoft will keep this campaign going, but in hindsight it's becoming quite irritating. Or maybe I'm bitter because I haven't gotten a free Windows Phone yet...
