Samsung will launch Galaxy S IV on March 14th
Samsung has confirmed that their next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S IV will be launched on March 14th during the Samsung Unpacked event in New York City. This new launch will mark the return of Samsung to the US after they launched the first Galaxy S handset there in 2010, followed by the Galaxy S II in Span in 2011 and the Galaxy S III last year in UK.
"We introduced the Galaxy S III in London last year, and this time we changed the venue (to New York)... as we were bombarded with requests from U.S. mobile carriers to unveil the Galaxy S IV in the country," Samsung Electronics' mobile division chief JK Shin told the Edaily news website, via Reuters.
While no specifics have been officially outed yet, the new Galaxy S IV is to have a faster screen, bigger and higher resolution screen plus better connectivity, and, of course, a much improved camera from the existing Galaxy S III. We'll have more on the UAE and other GCC launch of the Galaxy S IV closer to March 14th, so keep an eye out.
