South Africa Free State Government Pays $4.4m for Website Redesign

Running your own website can be a bit of an expensive affair. You need to buy the domain, get web hosting, and then design the actual site. Web Designers are almost everywhere, but it helps if you pay that little extra to get someone who knows what they're doing.

Except the fact that paying $4.4 million for a website redesign might be a tad too much. And that's exactly what the South Africa Free State Government paid for their site redesign, according to Director general Elzabe Rockman.

But here's the best part - the site is built on the free web platform WordPress, and is using a template called "London Live" (see code snippit below).

But wait, it gets better - the London Live theme is currently listed on ThemeForst...for a mere $40. Care to calculate how much of a mark-up that is?
