Here Are the 2013’s Top Billionaires

Every year, Forbes lists the top 20 billionaires with the most billions. It has released its 2013 list today, and unsurprisingly, the tech industry hero Bill Gates still continues to retain his no. 2 spot even after his unabated spending for charitable causes. Gates has $67 billion to his name.

The richest man in the world is, of course, Carlos Slim Helu, the Mexican telecom mogul with $73 billion. His net worth is up $4 billion thanks to the surge in stock prices at financial arm, Grupo Financiero Inbursa, and at his retail giant, Grupo Carso.

It's incredible to see Bill Gates still among the richest individuals in the world, considering his work for his charity foundation and the fact that he no longer works at Microsoft. And this is certainly a good thing - Gates has achieved much more than making personal computers accessible around the world; his work of improving healthcare and providing the necessary tools and medicines to eradicate  diseases is an achievement far and beyond anything that he has done in his previous life. In fact, to compare Bill Gates is quite truly better than Batman.
