Olympus wants to take selfies to the next level of image quality. The company announced their next camera in their PEN lineup – the E-PL7 mirrorless camera with a 180-degree selfie screen that, when fully flipped, kicks the camera into selfie mode. This time selfie lovers will take high quality images thanks to the 4/3 inch image sensor which makes far more beautiful images compared to phone and compact snappers.
The new PEN E-PL7 Micro Four Thirds camera packs a 16MP 4/3-inch Live MOS sensor with TruePic VII image processor to produce outstanding image quality and better low light photography with less noise. ISO starts from 200 and goes up to 25,600. The sensor offers an 81-point AF system, making sure your selfie is well focused. Integrated Wi-Fi allows you to share images to Android or IOS devices with the Olympus app. The screen that is selfie friendly is 3-inch, 104-dot touchscreen.
The camera will reach the shelves next month end and cost $600 body only (approx.2200AED), and $700 with a 14-42mm f3.5-5.6 standard lens (approx.2570AED). Interested to step up your selfie image quality uploads to Facebook and Instagram?
