Panasonic just announced its new Lumix ZS70, as a part of ts travel zoom compact camera range, and it is loaded with features.
The new ZS70 will replace the older Lumix ZS60, but will feature the same versatile 30x optical zoom, equivalent to 24-720mm, but key differences are a new sensor and a tilting screen. This new sensor will boost the resolution from 18.1MP to 20.3MP and allow 4K video capture. You also get Panasonic's 4K Photo function, allowing you to capture shots at 30fps and then extract stills at 8MP equivalent resolution.
With the ZS70, you can shoot at up to 10fps, along with a 0.1-second AF speed, along with a range of AF functions that include Touch AF, 49-point AF and Low Light AF. It also has a 3.0-inch touchscreen display now tilts forwards away from the body for those wanting to shoot selfies, which will automatically enter into self-shot mode. On the rear display, there’s an also an 0.2-inch, 1,166k-dot EVF.
In terms of pricing, the Lumix ZS70 will be priced at $499.99 and will be available from June.
