Today, Sony announced that its next-gen home console, the PlayStation 4, has sailed past the 7 million units sold mark worldwide as of April 6, 2014.
Sony also revealed that over 20.5 million games have been sold (both at retail and digital), to consumers as of April 3, 2014. This brings PlayStation 4′s attach rate to an impressive 2.93 per console.
The company doled out even more stats, saying that 135 million shares have been captured using the DualShock 4′s Share button, and that users have broadcasted 4.9 million games so far, with 90 million spectate sessions.
In other news, Sony also announced that its new 4K TVs will have PlayStation Now streaming capability built-in.
