The Canterwood, or now formally known as the 875P chipset has been officially launched by Intel supporting the new 800MHz FSB Pentium4 CPUs. Along with the 875P Northbridge, Intel also released a new Southbridge- the ICH5 supporting additional USB ports and Serial-ATA. We have the Northbridge, the Southbridge and a bunch of manufacturers getting ready to release boards based on these new chipset. However, we don’t see any 800MHz CPU in sight! We’ll leave that thought for another time- right now, lets take a look at one such motherboard by ASUS known as the P4C800.
