If I remember correctly, it was at Computex a couple of years ago that MSI introduced their first “Special Edition” motherboard based on the KT(333?) chipset featuring a then-new red-hot PCB. I definitely wanted one. Fast forward to today and we have a new “Platinum Edition” board from MSI- this time its based on the very popular 865PE chipset and has a black PCB with a golden heatsink. MSI’s engineering team has put it a lot of effort into making this board- using only top quality components.
