We recently took a look at three retail cards based on the nVidia FX5800 Ultra GPU and none of them managed to really impress us. Sure, the performance was pretty good- as fast or faster than the Radeon 9700 PRO, but the amount of noise and heat generated by the card along with the heavy price associated with it didnt really make it worth it.
