It’s been over six months since the initial release of the nForce2 chipset from nVidia and although we saw an nForce2 board from almost every major motherboard manufacturer, Gigabyte decided to stay put for a while. Unfortunately, the chipset market for AMD CPUs has been high and dry and we haven’t really seen any performance driven chipsets for the Athlon except the nForce2 for a while. Maybe this was what made Gigabyte decide to release their first nForce2 board. Although Gigabyte may be late for the party, they sure know how to make an entrance as their 7NNXP board is definitely the most feature rich nForce2 board available today.
