When it comes to integrated graphics, there has always been a push for better performing solutions. Recently, ATI released the 9100 IGP chipset for Pentium 4 processors. Not only does the new 9100 IGP bring better integrated performance to the table, it also adds a dual channel memory controller. ATI is hoping to compete with other integrated solutions like Intel's 865G chipset, and at the same time, offer the enthusiast a low cost well performing solution. While the first generation of ATI chipsets was somewhat lacking, they hope to make a better impression with the 9100 IGP.

Today, we will be looking specifically at the new ASUS P4R800-V Deluxe motherboard. Unlike other 9100 IGP motherboards available, the ASUS P4R800-V Deluxe is a full size ATX mainboard loaded with features and the quality you can trust from a company such as ASUS. This motherboard is targeted towards the enthusiast on a budget and should not be confused with a low end OEM solution.
