Style is something that Shuttle has definitely helped implementing in the PC industry with their XPCs. Keeping this idea in mind, Shuttle is now adding more products to their portfolio starting off with LCD screens. These sleek display devices have been selling well for the last few quarters replacing the big and bulky monitors we’re used to. Shuttle’s entry into the LCD seems like an ideal move for them- they can now pair the lean mean XPC machine with an even sleeker XP17.

Packaging

Shuttle packs the XP17 in a nice box that’s somewhat similar to their XPC and will surely keep the LCD protected. The front shows a slick image of the display while the back of the box literally shows the back of the LCD panel. Included in the package are cables for both DVI and Analog connections as well as the power adapter, a cleaning cloth and the users manual.

Since the XPC is a portable type of PC, Shuttle didn’t make the XP17 a fixed asset either. This explains the design about which we talk in the next section as well as the included carrying case. The rather large case fits the XP17 well and looks pretty decent with the Shuttle logo embossed

Lets take a look at the actual unit
