The lion in pre-modern China is believed to have powerful mythical protective powers. This has traditionally encouraged its use in front of Chinese Imperial palaces, temples, emperors' tombs, government offices and homes of the wealthy. Asus have used the lion legend on a heatsink design that sports four 8mm heat-pipes ready to be installed on any of today’s CPU’s and grace the inside of any case. Lets start of with the specifications of the Lion Square.

The red & black box has a small cut-away porthole window in the front with the legendary lion logo from the heatsink showing through. Inside the box we found; a tube of thermal paste, a manual, an AMD socket bracket and an Intel 775 socket bracket.
