| A newer 9800GTX graphics card, some tubes, a radiator with a fan and some water later, came the Zotac 9800GTX+ Zone! Edition graphics card. A water-cooled, silent operation card that leaves the noise to the games and poised to perform better than the stock speeds 9800GTX+. Packaging Zotac has packaged the goodies inside a big heavy box; it includes a driver CD, manuals, VIVO cable, audio cable, two 4-pin Molex to PCI-e power cable, HDMI and DVI adapters, Full game of XIII Century and a Zotac badge sticker. Layout Zotac uses a single 2 pass radiator mounted with a 120mm fan which is attached to the 9800GTX+ card using ¼” OD black tubing. The 9800GTX+ has two SLI connectors on the side which supports a 2 way SLI and 3 way SLI setup. At the rear end we have two DVI ports that support resolutions of up to 2560x1600 with HDMI support using the HDMI adapter included in the package. Two PCI-e 6-pin power connectors sitting in the corner are used to suck in some power directly from the power supply to run this card. Being the curious bunch that we are, we couldn’t wait to get the large cover off the top of the card so we could see the heatsink properly. The heatsink nearly covers the entire card while the water block covers only the GPU. Also notice the pump is actually mounted on the card itself next to the GPU. The radiator is cooled by a 120mm EverFlow (R121225DL) fan rated to run at 2000 RPM producing 54.16 CFM (airflow) and 32.5 dbA (sound level). What keeps the water churning around is a MAN ZAI (RDPC3625D12) pump rated at 12v, running at 3600 RPM pumping through 120 litres per hour with a noise level of 30dbA.
