We might see the Samsung Note 8 in a super spec 256GB storage version, but it could be for limited markets.
According to rumors, Samsung might launch a version of the Note 8 with a 256GB storage option. However, it might just be for the South Korean market, similar to how the company launched a 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM version of the Galaxy S8, but there were only 150,000 units and it was only on sale in the company's home market of South Korea.
The rumor comes from reliable source Roland Quandt, who further mentions that there might not be an extra RAM on the super spec version. He notes that this model of the Galaxy Note 8 may be a Korea exclusive deal, but it's currently not certain. It'll be the first phone from Samsung to come with 256GB of storage as most Samsung handsets usually come with 64GB onboard.
Other rumors suggest the phone will come with either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 chipset, a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display and an upgraded S Pen.
We dont know for sure if this version will come with microSD card support, but if it does, it would mean a whole lot of storage. What would you do with all that space? Let us know in the comments below.
