Samsung Galaxy S9 might get a Snapdragon 845
Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro price leaked
Bixby Voice could be released before the Note 8
While everyone is focusing on the Samsung Note 8 set to be revealed this month, it seems that the company might also reveal a new fitness tracker along with the phone, called the Gear Fit Pro 2.
Potentially a sequel to the Gear Fit 2, the Pro version might just be a minor upgrade rather than a major overhaul, though there should be some bells and whistles to attract buyers. The report comes from a blank support page spotted by SamMobile. According to the page, there is a good chance the wearable could launch alongside the Galaxy Note 8 on August 23, or maybe at the IFA event at the start of September.
From what we know, the wearable seems to be a little different than the new Samsung Gear smartwatch, which is basically a Gear S3 with fitness features, also in the pipeline. This one is going to be more fitness tracker and less smartwatch, like the Gear Fit 2 it's supposedly replacing.
Samsung did register a trademark for "Gear Fit Pro" at the start of the year, but has been quiet on it ever since. We dont know much in terms of specs or price, but it wouldnt be surprising if we see multiple wearables from the brand. We might also see the Gear S4 as well.
