Sharp is differentiating itself from the rest of the Android manufacturers by coming up with two almost bezel-free phones that will be called the Sharp Aquos Crystal and Aquos Crystal X.
The Aquos Crystal will be 5 inches in height, 2.6 inches in width and 0.39 inch thickness weighing around 140 grams. It will feature a 5-inch display with 720p resolution and pack a quad core Snapdragon 400 SOC with LTE capability, 1.5GB RAM, 8GB internal storage running on Android 4.4.2. Also expect a 2040mAh battery and Harman Kardon sound effects engine.
The Aquos Crystal X will have a bigger 5.5 inch screen with 1080p resolution and come with he faster Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and a bigger 2610 mAh battery.
Reports indicate that the Aquos Crystal is headed for the US, and the Aquos Crystal X is Japan exclusive for now. There is no news so far regarding the Middle Eastern availability and costs of these handsets.
