Android O devices to sound better with Sony
New Sony Patent to bring wireless share phone charge
PS4 games to be playable on PC with PlayStation Now
Sony has announced a new phone today- the Xperia L1. The announcement's timing is a bit surprising as Sony revealed the XA1, the XA1 Ultra and the XZ Premium at MWC just a couple of weeks back. When asked why the L1 was held back from being announced at the conference Sony informed me that the L1 is focused on very specific markets which include the Middle East and Africa.
The Xperia L1 features a 5.5-inch display and features an edge-less design and rounded corners- much like the Xperia XA. The Xperia L1 is powered by a Quad-core platform, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage that is expandable through a MicroSD card.
Xperia L1 features Sony Mobile's "Xperia Actions" engine to responsively adapt device settings and functionality to your surroundings – the “Good night” mode will automatically set the device to “Do not disturb”, lower display brightness and ensure there’s no disruption whilst charging.
The device is expected to be released in the Middle East in April 2017. Pricing for the Xperia L1 has not been disclosed.
