Almost all the smartwatches available today are offered by gizmo companies such as LG, Motorola, Sony and Samsung. But none of them have pleased users who might prefer to wear a luxury brand on their wrists. Well, that might soon be changing. According to an exclusive report by Reuters, Tag Heuer is expected to announce a new smartwatch in partnership with Intel later today.

Interestingly, Pocket-Lint reports that Google had also taken part in creating the new luxury smartwatch, so expect the device to run on Android Wear. Intel’s role in the development could mean that the chipmaker must have provided a low-powered processor for the watch. We will know for sure soon.
