Apple might be getting serious about Apple TV
Rumors of the new iPhone have been floating around for a while now, and the latest rumors talk about a bezel-less iPhone, maybe even three of them this year.
Rumors of a premium 'iPhone edition' iPhone made its rounds yesterday, while another rumor popped up recently stating that this year’s 10th anniversary iPhone would be almost entirely screen, with minimal bezels and the possibility of a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. This model will reportedly sport an OLED display as well.
Apple is also rumored to be trying to implement a fingerprint scanner under the glass on the front of the premium iPhone, though design plans are reportedly “still in flux and can change.”
However, new sources have reported to Bloomberg that Apple is already “testing a revamped iPhone” that will feature “a new type of screen, curved glass and stainless steel materials, and more advanced cameras”. According to the rumors, various prototypes have been tested, including a “more ambitious prototype with the same slightly curved front and steel frame, but a glass back with more dramatic curves on the top and bottom like the original iPhone design from 2007.”
This new report also states that we might see upgraded versions of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus releasing along with this new iPhone edition iPhone. These two phones could also be the 'S' versions of iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.
All three of these phones can be expected to be launched this fall, and rumors suggest that the premium model might face a delay before coming on shelves.
